Tears

A tear rolls down my cheek,
at times it's because I feel weak.
I am far from being helpless,
so don't offer me your hand in pity.

A tear rolls down my cheek,
because the way you talk to me is far from meek.
My eyes burn from the swelling tears I hold back
to deny you the satisfaction of a laugh.

Another tear rolls down my cheek,
because being happy is a matter of doublespeak.
I smile because I feel like it,
I cry to release the pain hidden behind the smile.

Tears stream down my cheeks,
my first chance for release in weeks.
Sometimes pain can take on other forms and
seem to fade but not disappear as a whole.

I need to dry my eyes...

Soon time for something a little Different

well, it seems to me that this little experiment of mine has come close to running it's course...What I mean is it seems like me just talking about the daily...isn't really enough? I mean hell, I ask for a comment of two every so many posts just to let me know that you who looks at my rants/thoughts would rather I shut the hell up, which I won't, tell me to calm down, which I won't, or just plain say something random. I'm just ranting again...anyway I'm gonna post one of my poems soon and I'd like to hear some feedback...but I know I won't...so whoever reads it, reads it....whoever comments, does..

Hotness, no?
I was just flipping through the channels and saw her comedy special on. Why? Dunno..Although I haven't been keeping track of her in the media, don't really do that for most to begin with, I always wondered in the back of my mind what happened.

I guess the whole outspoken woman thing is a real turn on for someone who doesn't like to defend himself.

Fingered

Being that I'm up atm and not doing anything, lemme post. Funny thing happened to me to the other day someone gave me the finger on the Major Deegan. It had me cracking up for a minute, becuase of the thought that went through my head. "I've been fingered for the first time"

I wanna see that "kung fu" Geico commercial.
