I suck

Do you sometimes get embarrassed by the views of family and friends but don't say anything? I'm guessing it depends on your personality type. Basically its the American medias focus on same sex marriages for the past week..Personally I don't give a damn. I mean if you've found that person that completes you, that is if you believe in there being one person who you were destined to be with, screw what the rest say. But what does my opinion have to do with anything?
What do you owe this message from me to..? The listening to the parental unit briefly discussing views and not being able to say anything because my own views suddenly became questionable...Stand firm or Crumble?
