Version 2.3 has rolled out

Yeah, It's the 23rd year of life on this rock.

This is just a quick little post proving that I'm still alive and blogging. I have been watching this scene for a while and I've noticed a few of the bugs with my blog. At the moment there's not much I can do, some problems like the Blog Roll & my MoBlog have more or less fixed themselves. I'll make a more content hardy post soon...Just came back from otakon earlier in the week and still have some pics and other stuff to post.

The Solitude of Retail

[Listening to: Gouge Away [*] - Papa Roach - lovehatetragedy [Bonus Tracks] (02:08)]

Yeah, I know first post in a bit and Its to return to the world a bit broken inside again. I think the whole appeal of the retail thing has just about come to an end. Really it's been gone for a while, but it was the people who I worked with that made it seem not so bad...things change. People are gone, new people are present, environment has changed, family life has changed an social situation has somewhat changed.

In all honesty I've made some good friends working, one who pisses me off because I can't even seem to step into the doorway of his house (yeah friendly, huh? Says it's a family thing), another who seems more like a role model to me no matter how manipulative she is, and another to who people claim is like my before picture these are just a few of the more recent ones.

I wish for better days and I hope a year from now for this to be my Independence Day.

Posting away from home, what a concept

Just a little update, added a new work: Latest Poem over at Brokenworks.

Wrote it while waiting at a friends place.

The Force Twisted by you are

Just got dropped off from seeing Episode 3.

Co-Worker (3:36:52 AM): u atill up guy
Co-Worker (3:37:01 AM): still*
BrknSeals (3:37:12 AM): just came back from the movie like 20 min ago

Wow....Um...Wow..

First off though, I just have to say, Ouch! The switching in contrasts between dark and white lighting can really hurt. Just a warning to those who are going to watch the movie, if you sense the scene is going to shift to the Jedi side, you may want to brace your eyes. It didn't happen often, but Ow.

Funny moments, especially with R2 in the very beginning. Skywalker's reaction to the pregnancy, is just so the typical guy. "Something wonderful" indeed. Any moment before Yoda is about to fight.

Scenes where my jaw dropped: The sequence prior to receiving the Vader name, Vaders appearance at the temple, Order 66 and everytime Jay's Cellphone went off.

Yeah the main downside was a Co-Worker, Y'know, the "Turn off your damn cellphone" feeling. Oh and me not winning any of the prizes from the training before the movie. I really would've like to have one of the Light Sabers or atleast the P4 Processor/Mobo/XP combos...They can keep the cheap looking mp3 players.

*Possible Spoiler*

**Possible Spoiler**

***Possible Spoiler***

I think Padme's death lies solely on Vader's shoulders. I don't think what he did to her physically had anything to do with the outcome. It seems that as Vader snuffs out Skywalker, by the connection between he and Padme drains away her life. What's a bit odd is that when he appears in full Darth Vader look, he should have felt the severed bond.

Revenge of the Sith - Early?

Yeah, Getting ready to head out the door. Waiting for my psp to finish recharging and then I'm out the door. Apparently Intel has arranged for a free Midnight showing Of Episode 3, so those of you in the know I guess I'll be seeing you.

Let's get Quizzical

[Listening to: BACK ON THE ROCKS - MEGA NRG M - avex trax - INITIAL D - D SELECTION 0 (04:49)]

Word...

Season = Winter
You're Most Like The Season Winter ...

You're often depicted as the cold, distant season.
But you're incredibly intelligent, mature and
Independant. You have an air of power around
you - and that can sometimes scare people off.
You're complex, and get hurt easily - so you
rarely let people in if you can help it. You
can be somewhat of a loner, but just as easily
you could be the leader of many. You Tend to be
negative, and hard to relate to, but you give
off a relaxed image despite being insecure -
and secretly many people long to be like you,
not knowing how deep the Winter season really
is.

Well done... You're the most inspirational of
seasons :)

?? Which Season Are You ??
brought to you by Quizilla

>.> Ouch...uhm...Ow

Servant to the Blood
You are a Servant of Blood, the lowest class of
vampire. You are dependent on your master and
very reliable. You have little or no servants
of your own because you are either uninterested
in being a sire, or are too weak to capture
humans for yourself. You are still working on
any major abilities, but mostly you take after
your master. You can be seen as either too
attached or unbelievably loyal to your beloved
master. Just don't let yourself be used so
much.

What class of vampire are you? (more new images!)
brought to you by Quizilla

Damn Right!

katana
You are a katana! You are sharp, fast, and easy to
control. sometimes you are too short but you
make up for it with your grace and elegance.

What kind of sword are you?

There are just some quotes

"Dude, chicks are like Voltron; the more you hook up, the better it gets!"

[Listening to: games - midnight club II - silver screen (malibu mix) - - (05:45)]

Which Knight Rider Character Are You?

AprilBonnieYou scored 30...

You are APRIL/BONNIE
You have a dual personality and four tits... Hang on, getting my wires crossed here. You are a very focussed individual also very hands on and practical with whatever you encounter but what you gain on that side of things you have lost in imagination and creativity which can sometimes lead to outbursts of rage involving spoons, yoghurt and small rabbits. You are a person firmly based here and now and avoid flights of fancy or doing things on a whim. Despite your lack of imagination though you are very skilled and patient and you have an up-to-date fashion sense although you'll never be a trend setter, more like a step behind really. You should really work on your people skills and stop saying "what" all the time.

http://www.savethegoldfish.co.uk/fun/knightrider.php

I so stumbled upon this while trying my expriment of using google plus certain keywords, one of which being porn to try and find my blog...weird, huh?

Hits?

[Listening to: I'm Horny Remix - Madison ave - (04:48)]

How many hits do you get when you make a topic with the word porn?

Porn? Yes, Porn..it's so easy to just say Porn..heh! I'm still up and I became curious, if you have a blog and it's linked to by search engines, will adding search fodder modify the hits in any way? Let the experiment commence!

To be wanted....what a feeling.

[Listening to: Track 14 - Unknown Artist - ???D 3 (04:58)]

Ugh...Damn Macrovision is what I say, if that freaking copy protection causes hiccups with most of my dvd playing electronics why should I have the product? I'll have to take the pain so I can keep watching Knight Rider.

So yeah, I think I'm gonna try for a semi-stedy posting schedule once again.. Funny thing when you have time on your hands you can post, when you actually have stuff to do with your life posting seems harded and yet not, because of the options available if you're serious. Heck I finally got serious about getting m damn MMS settings right and now look, I have pics getting added to my moblog. Take a look at the side, not the same ol' pic that was up for months, eh?

Life is coming and going, if life can be expressed that way. Good things are coming along and bad thing are coming and going. My psp has been my in-car radio since I've had it and it'll continue to be until I can finally put a radio back in my car. Speaking of my car, the trunk decided that it wouldn't work properly anymore as of today/yesterday as it were. Heh, another thing to fix, not that it was in good shape to begin with since the big incident that led to me getting the car.

Being the tech of the house I have to solve problems. I have no problem with that, most of the time. Heck, free room and board really is a fair trade I say. So picking up ink for my little brother's printer had me stop by the job to make use of my so-called discount...yay no tax :P . Not even walking into the building I get a "You're luck you aren't working today, look at the counter..." So when I walk in, I avoid it like the plague and making use of the skills I picked up watching others play Metal Gear, I managed to grab the ink..only to be spotted. Lucky we don't carry guns in retail, eh? Yeah, the lines of reality blur for me at times.

Yay for almost finishing Disc 2 side 2 of Knight Rider Season 1.

The new pic is of the tree that's in front of my building, going send the night shot later on..so the world can see how crappy the camera quality really is.. :P Glad I took the hit and just went with a 1 year Contract...that remainds me...bill I might wanna pay. Later my Peeps.

More bugs

Weeding through my blog takes time, some oh which I really don't have. If you notice a double or as it usually seems to happen a triple post let me know about it in the comments section.

Heh...Where did that Month go?

[Listening to: Chapter 1 - Unknown - (48:44)]

Hmm...

Working on MSV's, apparently without knowing that was the term for what I've been creating.

Being Used and Abused by the 'job'

Playing and just bonding with my Psp...yeah Hacks!

Trying to get my damn camera phone to work the way it should, speaking of which I'm finally able to start posting to my moblog with it again..heh One pic and then the stupid thing gets cocky and doesn't want to upload anymore..any current pic is me using my psp to browse this blog...looks horrible...^_^;

Trying to write a new poem, but I keep blanking when it's time

Slowly working on redoing some of the pages for my website

Replacing the Struts and Shocks on my car....So could've bought at least two consoles with the money I spent there, but hell the ride does feel better in spots

Figuring out my situation with my student loans

Considering redoing my resume, customer claims to be able to find a job opening for me

Waiting on the frigging release of Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst...I mean hell, I've played the game maybe once or twice and that was back when it first came out on Dreamcast and friend with too much time on his hands ;)
Well he still has too much time if you ask me, but meh.

Visiting those kind enough to visit the page and lurking in the shadows...Y'know I'm stealthy:
Tori - Mind using code that's friendly to browsers other than IE?
Rowan - Great blog

Waiting for a certain blog to be updated again.

Installing, Uninstalling and Reinstalling software..bloody Firefox extensions not being updated in time for the new version of the broswer

Considering how to help my mom, who will be losing her job in about a month and a half

Etc.. Etc.. Etc... Boy I sure do miss Software Etc ^_^

Wednesday, March 30, 2005

Apologies

Don't you just love buggy software. Sorry for like six extra entries that came up, I diidn't check to make sure that post was logged correctly.

I will be adding a post that missed it's appearance, basically I got a psp. The pics are on my hard drive just waiting to be posted, after resizing is done.

Film crews on your block annoy you, not excite you.

You actually get these jokes and pass them on to other friends from NYC.

While some of your behavior is quite normal...

Other things you do are downright strange

You've got a little of your freak going on

But you mostly keep your weirdness to yourself

Your Seduction Style: The Natural

You don't really try to seduce people... it just seems to happen.
Fun loving and free spirited, you bring out the inner child in people.
You are spontaneous, sincere, and unpretentious - a hard combo to find!
People drop their guard around you, and find themselves falling fast.

Your Passion is Gray

Your sexual attitude is best described as apathetic.
Often joking that you're asexual, you can go months without getting any.
For you, great sex does not make or break a relationship.
If it happens, it's just the icing on the cake.

Recent Addition

Gran Turismo 4

I so wasn't going to buy this, until I saw it. My mind blanked, "OOOOoooooOOOooo.." came from my mouth and next thing I know my debit card is going back into my pocket. Damn impulse buys...not to say that I really regret it, I just had higher priorites. Meh...I tried driving Ren's car in the game...too much of a pain for me to learn how to properly drive...too hard to actually turn on a thight track like Seattle.

Move - Deep Calm

I'm going to kill this guy, well after I buy him a birthday gift to even things out. Yeah, well I got my much awaited and delayed Christmas gift from the Fox. With this cd, which he actually spent $35 according to the sticker on the back to get me the actual import of this albulm and the 1/60th scale model of Freedom.

Other Stuff

Well...A week and a day away, a major chunk of money and I shall be parted. Yes, yes my friends the PSP shall launch...on payday. They Planned it I swear! They want me to be poor, especially because I actually want to buy the replacement plan and additional accessories to keep it protected...but I'll have to stick with the system standalone and worry about everything else next check. Gotta live and pay stuff. Of course there still is the matter of me getting my hands on one of the systems, being that it should launch on that Thursday I normally work the afternoon shift. Funny thing is how we get shipments, no word if they're going to pull an SP and not have the systems arrive til the day of/day before or a DS and have them arrive the week before and under heavy lockdown.

Still haven't gotten my new Cellphone. Why? Money and other things. Considering that the SE Z500a is valued around $240, almost a PSP right there..., and me not wanting to change service / start a new contract. Y'see I have or rather had At&t Wireless for a carrier...and was free from my contract for what almost half a year. Yeah, I really wasn't taking them up on their offers to extend my contract just to see what happened. Funny thing about parents..."Renew it, you won't have service if you don't..." "I don't hardly use it anyway, so I wanna see what happens." Anyway the real problem is the "Migration" to the new network of Cingular. I don't consider mysef too demanding in just wanting the numbers in my current T720 to get transfered over to the new phone and maybe being able to use my old phone as a backup...hell it's GSM and considering that Cingular is actually converting over to At&t's systems I don't see the problem. "The technology is too Advanced..." "The Sim Card won't fiit" "You can't unlock your phone to use with the Cingular system...See Excuse #1". So anyway because I'm technicaly a Cingular subscriber, although if you talk to them I'm still At&t I can't apply for a "free phone" with most celluar places because I'm an existing subscriber. The Cingular route, I change calling plans, Phones, Lose free incoming Text messages as well as some other features, and may or may not see reception improvement in the coming months..oh did I mention I'll gain better account payment and status features when I change over. You are not the borg, I shall resist! ....Until I see a working model of the phone...Meh!

Yeah I know I didn't spellcheck, cause my natural Spellchecker is going off like a .....

Shadow rolls with the force

Apparently Sega is making a spin-off of Sonic featuring Shadow.

"...it was hard to miss Shadow packing some heat. Yes, the dark hedgehog rolls strapped with a pistol of some kind, and he appears to have no qualms about using to take out fools in his way."

Say What? I Feel like playing some DMX or something to really set the right mood. I'm not sure which I'm more disturbed with, the way Sega's going with its games or how the article was phrased. Funny thing is I knew Sega was planning something when I took the 'Which chracter do you like more and would like to see in their own game' quiz. Ok so that wasn't the name but you get the idea.

OMFG!! AIIIIIIIIEEEEE!!!!

Ok, so I've been in a real webcomic reading mood, trying to fill the void that I've had for a while. Clan Bob was the home of the The Life of Riley and cool place to visit, then one day the site just seemed to go offline. I mean like 404 pagenot there anymore kind of gone. Of course being resourceful as I am, I did a quick WhoIs search and the domain was still registered. Anyway the site's back, although with new LoR strips indefinitely postponed.

Here's the Strip that started the whole addiction... Damn you Ren, damn you I really will pay you back for this someday soon.

Stupid people must Die, Die Now!

[Listening to: Make war not love - Pro pain - The truth hurts (04:55)]

Let's try posting this again, without locking my post and crashing, huh W.bloggar?!

Anyway... Someone out there really understands my pain. You deal with customers enough and you'll realize there are more stupid people out there versus intelligent one, really stupid ones don't seem to know how stupid they are when they repeat the same crap over again. I really like this webcomic, read this strip.

Side note: I fucking, yeah I said Fucking hate this shit. I got a Fucking $115 parking ticket for my car being double parked for five minutes while I had to pick up my little brother from school. I have no problem with this, now. I respect the law, I broke it so I should pay...although there goes my DVD burner...But what is really fucking setting me off is the fact that when I came out the traffic cops are are across the street bullshitting and laughing with some people as they see us get back to my car. GRRR!!! I want their blood...I shall feed it to their young..

Agitated much? Nah..

Playstation Fix

[Listening to: Rapture (Dance Mix) - Iio - My Block (CDS) (08:41)]

Considering that I'm still up at this hour..due to finding another webcomic that I can watch over like hawk.

Anyway, my Playstation 2, which many of my friends know by the affectionate name "Brain Dead" is going to be fixed. It's been out of service for almost a year now, or will be. It was around the time I got Xenosaga when the whole Disc Read Error (DRE) thing really started. If you were fortunate enough to be around in my DeVry days you would have seen it in action on many a boring four hour gaps in classes.

Yeah, so I'm logging off and going to print up my form on my brother's printer at the now 3ish am, before closing my tired eyes.

Note to self: After car shit is taken care of, treat yourself to a new printer, book, dvd burner(now I want one with lightscribe...save me from myself ), and/or any of the above or other unlisted things. Import Tuner I really like the articles, and the cover art ^_^; Three tries to stype that, bloody tired.

First post of the New Year

Welcome to the blog post 2k5.

What are my resolutions?

Like I decided some time ago, I've given up on making resolutions, because I find it hard to keep promises to myself.

How did I celebrate?
My Best Friend from High School and I decided to commemorate the new year the best way we knew how, gaming. A single session of Halo 2 beginning a few minutes before the ball drop and lasting an hour into the new year, until it finally ended thanks to yours truly doing some sniping action.

What's to come in the new year?
At the moment, I'm watching the movie The Buddhist Fist on the International Channel. I love Asia street.

I plan to continue my forays into the mysteries that are affairs of the heart. Being the baka that I am in this area, this may take a while.

With the amount of money I have invested, the likelyhood of me getting off my butt and going for my certification and finding a new job.

I will obtain a PSP and then the real fun can begin.

Congrats all, as always I have love for all.
